Clifton Taylor has extensive experience as an arranger for ensembles of every level, from middle school to university groups. Having developed his craft through writing for his own bands over the past three decades of teaching, he knows what works and can produce solid, playable arrangements for concert band, marching band, jazz ensemble, and chamber groups. His past clients include regional high schools and the Mississippi Lions All State Concert and Marching Bands. Since 2005, he has teamed with Dr. Jason Baker, MSU Professor of Percussion, to create the majority of the custom marching arrangements performed by the Mississippi State University Famous Maroon Band.
